Hey everyone! Please visit my online web portfolio. In my BIS402 course we had to compose a web portfolio (similar to the hard copy portfolio's we were all assigned in BIS301 with our transferable skills, resume, etc) and I am really proud of what I have put together thus far. On my site you will be able to learn more about me, my passions, my concentration areas, transferable skills, plans after graduation, awards and recognitions, and everything else in between! :-)

ReplyDeleteWow! You really do have some great experience already under your belt. I am sure that it was both exciting and life changing to have served as Miss Arizona and be the 2nd runner up in the Miss USA pageant. I thought that is was great the your portfolio included videos that you had made for CW. On your resume I would take off the references available upon request. I would also try to transform your portfolio from an academic portfolio to more of a professional portfolio that you can use when applying for jobs. That shouldn't be that hard to do.

I can tell that you have spent a lot of time and effort on this project. Any employer would be amazed to see all of the accomplishments you have had in your life so far! Your skills page looks great. You did a wonderful job explaining how you are skilled in these areas. I am also very impressed by all of the pictures you have included. Pictures always add a little color and uniqueness to web pages. Great job! I can tell you are going to be successful in whatever you do :)
That is awesome Alicia. I was very impressed by your accomplishments as well as your direction in life. That is so cool that you were involved in the Miss America pageant, that is such a cool experience. Sounds like you have everything together, keep up the positive attitude and keep on keeping on.

ReplyDeleteYour web portfolio you've made is great! I love the layout of it, and it's great that you did something like that for your BIS classes. That's awesome you were Miss Arizona in 2009! Congratulations, that's a huge accomplishment and must have taken a lot of hard work! And to be in the top five as well, how exciting! That must have been an amazing experience. Your internship looks like a wonderful experience as well. I love children, as it appears you do as well, so you benefiting them is obviously a great cause. Your resume is also extremely impressive, and it looks like you are definitely on the right track to success! Congratulations and good luck with everything!
